LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT – Debut Album "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" in October 2026 via 20 Buck Spin – Details & Track Premiere

20 Buck Spin proudly announces the debut album of Italy's LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT, entitled "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night", scheduled for October 16th 2026.

The leadoff single "Profaned Fountain Of Leaden Waters" has been premiered here: https://youtu.be/8eUGHaDSVHk

Following the ferocious declaration of intent laid down by 2025's "Demo MMXXV", Milan-based musician Gabriele Gramaglia offers the first full-length manifestation of LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT, "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night". Known for his work with Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis and numerous other entities operating within the more adventurous reaches of extreme metal, Gramaglia established LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT as an outlet for a more ravenous and instinctive strain of Death Metal; one driven by brute momentum, frenzied aggression and an uncompromising rawness. On "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" that initial impulse erupts into a considerably more formidable and fully developed beast.

While retaining the layered, multifaceted songwriting characteristic of Gramaglia's broader body of work, LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT directs that complexity toward outright pandemonium. Gritty, abrasive guitars churn through pummeling and intricate rhythmic contortions as tortured vocals howl from within the tumult and cascades of shrieking lead guitar slash across the album's fractured landscape. Yet beneath its seemingly unrestrained violence lies a meticulously engineered attack: riffs twist and collide at excessive velocity, tempos lurch between hammering force and sudden acceleration, and flashes of classic Heavy and Speed Metal emerge through the wreckage before being swallowed by the surrounding maelstrom.

"In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" thrives upon this collision of precision and savagery, harnessing technical ability as another weapon in an arsenal built for maximum destructive force. LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT channels the restless imagination behind Gramaglia's other work into something noticeably more feral and antagonistic; a sustained barrage of serrated riffing, relentless battery and deranged metallic energy. "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" tears open the gates on LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT's first full-length campaign with a frenzied Death Metal assault built to leave nothing standing in its wake.

Written, recorded, mixed and mastered between fall 2025 and spring 2026 by Gabriele Gramaglia in Crepuscular Sound Studio. Artwork crafted by the refined mastery of Mariya Popyk.

DEATHWARDS - Debut Album "Realms Of Sin" in October 2026 via Sepulchral Voice Records - Track Premiere

This year the ‘Allhallowtide´ Triduum will be solemnly ushered in on October 30th, when DEATHWARDS finally release their debut album, "Realms of Sin".

Hailing from Chile and armed with blood-stained scythes & rust-eaten knives, they slash, tear and carve their way through the veil separating these accursed realms from the world of the end. This is Death Metal in its earliest and most uncompromising form - born from the violent mutation Thrash and Speed Metal underwent, when this music still felt dangerous and every riff carried the smell of underground conviction. Inspired by the savage spirit of the late 80’ies, DEATHWARDS resurrect the primal aggression, sinister atmosphere and relentless songwriting that defined the genre's inception 40 years ago. Razor-sharp riffs, venomous vocals, untamed solos and a performance so authentic, it could have been unearthed from a forgotten 1987 master tape.

As all of this wouldn´t have been enough, something even darker lurks beneath the bones.
"Realms of Sin" dives into the abyss of guilt, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, heresy, fraud and eternal punishment, drawing heavy inspiration from Dante's Inferno, biblical imagery and medieval visions of damnation. Rather than playing it safe while relying on superficial horror clichés, the lyrics explore spiritual collapse, metaphysical suffering, divine judgment and humanity's corrupt irreversibility. Every composition feels like the next step into an endless maze where redemption has been long forgotten and ceased to exist.

The music reflects this perceptions, carrying an atmosphere fully oppressive, solemn and utterly merciless. No trendy gimmicks, no overproduced artificiality, no sterile perfection, this record is the middlefinger in the face of all, who crave for the above mentioned. Every riff breathes black, chasing the next as it tears into another, riff after riff, each one sharp, deadly and vicious, every solo burns, every drumbeat serves and delivers instead of ego poser wanking. This is ancient, evil Death Metal with its Thrash roots fully intact—ferocious, sinister and unmistakably authentic.

Despite its old-school soul, the album benefits from a powerful, crystal-clear -Equinox Studio- production that preserves every detail without sacrificing the raw character of the performance. Complemented by a stunning hand-painted oil artwork from the young and promising Jorge Olavarria, every aspect of "Realms Of Sin" reflects dedication and true craftsmanship rather than modern carelessness.

In an era ruled by automation, quantization, interchangeable songwriting and digital uniformity, DEATHWARDS stand defiantly apart. Nothing was designed by algorithms. Nothing was assembled from templates. Every note, every word and every image exists with utterly purpose.

"Realms Of Sin" is not a mere tribute to the past. It is the real spirit brought back to life. Ancient. Malicious. Uncompromising. Death thrashing Metal.

HENRIK PALM - Fourth Album "Idiot Plot" coming in December 2026 via Svart Records

Henrik Palm is one of Swedish underground music's most restless and genre-defying figures. A veteran of In Solitude and early band member of Ghost, he has spent the better part of two decades moving freely between heavy metal, post-punk, krautrock, and whatever else catches his ear. Alternating between the world of being a solo artist and an in-demand collaborator has always come naturally to him, over the years Henrik has worked with Gösta Berlings Saga, Pig Eyes, Södra Sverige, Horndal, and stepped in as a live musician for Viagra Boys and Hurula. Across the Swedish underground, when someone needs the right person for the job, Henrik Palm’s name tends to come up.

Along the way he has earned devoted fans and built a cult following that led him to being hand-picked for Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg's curated Roadburn Festival program in 2019, as well as supporting Voivod multiple times.

His solo catalogue, "Many Days" (2017), "Poverty Metal" (2020), and "Nerd Icon" (2024), maps the trajectory of an artist incapable of repeating himself. Poverty Metal earned a P3 Guld nomination for Rock/metal of the Year, further cementing his place in the Swedish underground. Each record pulls from a different corner of his infamously insatiable vinyl collection, landing somewhere between Melvins, Wipers, Black Sabbath and Voivod with an extra layer of raw, Scandinavian darkness.

"Idiot Plot", his fourth album, was born from burnout, Sunday studio sessions, and the stubborn return of joy. It is his most psychedelic and unhinged record yet, and somehow also his most direct.

DISSIMULATOR – Second Album "Artifice Dissolves" in October 2026 via 20 Buck Spin – Track Premiere

20 Buck Spin proudly announces the sophomore full-length album of Canadian Sci-fi Technical Deaththrashers DISSIMULATOR, entitled "Artifice Dissolves", set for release on October 2nd 2026.

A first track, "Alloyed", is streaming here: https://youtu.be/vziIGhm0Te0

Vocalist / Guitraist Claude Leduc comments: “‘Alloyed’ is a philosophical musing about Günther Anders’ concept of Promethean shame - the idea that deep down human beings feel inferior or diminished against the perfection of their technological creations. The song highlights the band’s syncopated riffing style chugging in lockstep with the lyrics, which describe this self-alienation metaphorically through the motivations and consequences of undergoing a procedure to become fully cybernetic. It is a reminder that the real danger of our relationship to technology is not that machines will surpass humans, but that humans will lower themselves to machines.”

With "Artifice Dissolves", Montreal's DISSIMULATOR accelerate beyond the formidable sonic coordinates established by "Lower Form Resistance" and plunge headlong into a future world where technological hegemony and catastrophic entropy exist in perfect equilibrium. Their jagged sci-fi Death-Thrash has evolved into an ever more labyrinthine construct, fusing serrated riff matrices and volatile rhythmic architecture into an algorithm-obliterating neural hack.

"Artifice Dissolves" propels itself like an untethered artificial consciousness recursively rewriting its own code, with each movement revealing another phantasmagorical dimension within DISSIMULATOR's bionic mythology. Razor-wire guitar lines, alien yet familiar, whiplash and intersect at impossible angles whilst the rhythm section drives songs like "Alloyed" and "Neon Metropolis" through perpetual states of intensifying velocity, collapse, and reassembly, creating a surging sense of momentum undeterred by its relentless intricacy.

An awe-inspiring convergence of futuristic world-building and unrestrained, unapologetic technical aggression, "Artifice Dissolves" is a cyborg hallucination of a civilization wasting away in the sunless gutters of its autonomous megacities, the warped fever dreams of an omniscient God-machine, and the malignant side-effects of its cybernetic enhancements. And beneath the album's dazzling precision and violent thrust DISSIMULATOR maintain a timeless human striving for order and transcendence beyond the technological.

Fover a decade, FIRTAN has been a relentless force in the German extreme metal scene, captivating audiences with their dynamic performances across Europe. LEPER COLONY – New Track Premiere – Third Album "Back To Primal Sludge" out in October 2026 via Testimony Records

LEPER COLONY have unleashed the next single from their third full-length album "Back To Primal Sludge, scheduled for October 9th 2026 via Testimony Records.

The track "Seelenjäger" is available here with a lyric video: https://youtu.be/fETO2_EbSRM

Shred-master Rogga Johansson states: "The filth lives in the lower tempos. The epic, dirty, and massively catchy 'Seelenjäger' takes you on your final journey, with crushing grooves envenomed by a vocal performance that leaves its mark."

LEPER COLONY hold firm and relentlessly soldier on in their unholy quest to create the perfect equilibrium between the Floridian and Stockholm styles of old school death metal on "Back to Primal Sludge".

This defines "Back to Primal Sludge" in many ways as a direct continuation of their sophomore album "Those of the Morbid" (2025). Yet, there are twists and tweaks in the details. While the previous release offered a handful of references to deadly German influences, these have been further reduced just as the second album had dropped the classic thrash elements from the self-titled LEPER COLONY debut (2023).

LEPER COLONY came into being as a physical expression of the long-year friendship between German vocalist Marc Grewe and Swedish guitarist Rogga Johansson. Both decided in 2020 that their mutual love for old school death metal should come together in the shape of an album.

Marc Grewe firmly established his name as the former frontman of MORGOTH, and later with INSIDIOUS DISEASE as well as ASINHELL. Guitarist and bass player Rogga Johansson has left a massive trace in Swedish death metal as a member of many successful acts including PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, and REVOLTING.

The core duo at first enlisted the aid of CONSUMPTION drummer Jon Skäre and lead-guitarist Kjetil Lyngahug (PAGANIZER) to record "Leper Colony". Later, they were permanently joined by British drummer Jon Rudin, who is known best from MONSTROUS and DEAD SUN, among several other death metal bands.

With "Back to Primal Sludge", LEPER COLONY deliver another work of old school death metal love that every fanatic of this brutal genre and follower of this band has been hoping for!

Tracklist:
1. Madness Is a Kingdom
2. These Blades
3. Dead Soul Consortium
4. Thrown to the Pigs
5. Back to Primal Sludge
6. Flesh Grater
7. Seelenjäger

CRUCIVORE – Debut Album "Desecration" in November 2026 via Testimony Records – Details & Music Video Premiere

Testimony Records proudly announces the debut full-length album of Portuguese deathers CRUCIVORE, entitled "Desecration", set for release on November 13th 2026.

The crushing leodoff single "Depths Of Despair" is premiered here with a music video: https://youtu.be/rmZv6gwGDhQ

Vocalist Ricardo Proença comments: "The track 'Depths of Despair' carries a distinctive sense of eerie darkness. This unsettling atmosphere is created by a melodic foundation that is contrasted with powerful grooves and precisely placed slams, which add crushing weight to the track. Lyrically, this song explores the feeling of being trapped within your own despair, with no apparent way out. Heavy, dark, and captivating, 'Depths of Despair' combines a cinematic feeling with brutality to a powerful and immersive experience."

In the old harbour city of Lisbon, an undercurrent of darkness and morbidity hides beneath the sun-drenched gardens, beautifully tiled walls, and bustling streets of Portugal's proud capital. When the last revellers are gone in the early hours of morning just before dawn, something ancient rises from below.

It is this gnawing feeling that scratches at the edge of awareness of a sinister presence that haunts the tracks on CRUCIVORE's debut album "Desecration". Although these veterans of the Portuguese death metal scene are firmly building the foundations of their sound on the brutal and powerful principles of their genre, they take the style decisively into the present with their emphasis on cinematic elements and a fine sense of the dramatic and the epic.

Take a couple of die-hard death metal musicians from Portugal's capital, Lisbon, boasting massive talent and many years of experience under their belts. Combine that maturity with a burning desire and a clear vision to create uncompromising death metal songs that are infused with elements of brutal death and slam, and you get: CRUCIVORE.

CRUCIVORE were conceived on December 14th 2024. Precisely on that day, former ANALEPSY vocalist Ricardo Proença and guitarist Sérgio Páscoa (DOWNFALL OF MANKIND et al.) decided to join forces and form a new band. After recruiting more experienced musicians from Portugal, this new musical entity drew from decades of honing their craft to amalgamate crushing riffs, relentless drum pounding, devastating breakdowns, cavernous vocals, and carefully crafted dynamics into a contemporary sound that merges death metal intensity with the crushing weight of brutal death and slam.

CRUCIVORE opted for the classic lyrical themes of their genre, and their songs generally revolve around corruption, decay, blasphemy, mortality, and apocalyptic scenes, while also exploring the grotesque nature of existence through a lens of darkness and desecration.

Rather than relying on nostalgia or trends, CRUCIVORE seek to contribute to the ongoing evolution of death metal through conviction, experience, and an unwavering dedication to the underground. Instead of just delivering more of the same, the Portuguese seek for ways forward and they have found it in musical storytelling.

With "Desecration", CRUCIVORE deliver an outstanding debut full-length album and a musical vision that is bound to respectfully and diligently broaden the horizon of death metal.
