SINTAGE – New Track Stream - Second Album "Unbound Triumph" out soon via High Roller Records
German heavy metallers SINTAGE have unleashed the final advance single for their second album "Unbound Triumph", coming on October 17th 2025 through High Roller Records.
"One with the Wind" is streaming here with a promo clip: https://youtu.be/YYdGt2lhOp0
Following a self-financed EP named "The Sign" (2021) and the promising debut full-length "Paralyzing Chains" in 2023, SINTAGE are ready to unleash their eagerly awaited new record, featuring second guitarist Chili as a new, additional member of the band.
Guitarist Julez states: “First of all, I must stress that it’s our third studio recording in a row featuring a new line-up. Our new guitarist, Chili, who has been with us for the last two years, has had a big impact on how our second album turned out. We didn’t set out to record another album as brutal as 'Paralyzing Chains'. We rather wanted to combine the drive and emotion of 'The Sign' with the aggression of 'Paralyzing Chains'. We have two guitars now, so using more twin guitars and harmonies was definitely something we had on our list.”

BONGINATOR – New Video Single – Second Full-Length "Retrodeath" out soon via Testimony Records
BONGINATOR have revealed another song from their upcoming new album "Retrodeath", scheduled for October 24th 2025 via Testimony Records on all formats.
With the new video single "Short Ass Bus", BONGINATOR celebrate their big bad yellow tour-vehicle. The New England death metal posse has invited Abel Abarca, vocalist of American hardcore maniacs BIG ASS TRUCK from Inland Empire, CA, and vocalist Colin Richardson from their brothers-in-grooves IGNOMINIOUS to the party and you should totally feel free to join the fun, too!
Check out the clip here: https://youtu.be/lESDKVTiNik
Vocalist and shredder Erik Thorstenn comments: "When you were a kid, did you have to ride the short bus to school? Wait... that was just us? Anyway, this song is a banger and features our homies Abel Abarca from Big Ass Truck and Colin Richardson from Ignominious. It's a song about going to school, being covered in drool, and having a big ass. Also the guitar solo is sick. Just saying. No clue, how we will pull that off live. Listen and tell us what you think! But uh... Are you serious that none of you rode the short bus to school?"
Bang, boom, BONGINATOR! Madness reigns supreme on the band’s sophomore full-length: "Retrodeath" marks the birth of a new sound, not just for the band but also for the genre. The weed-devouring youngsters have actually put a lot of work into their new songs. Well, if you call immersing yourself for months into '80s action and horror movies as well as playing loads of old video games... 'work'.
Then again, more days were spent researching and emulating the exact synths used in the '80s to create some of their favorite soundtracks. The result is a fresh and somewhat happily unhinged sonic monster that has been carefully bred by BONGINATOR selectively crossing traditional US death metal, synthwave, and 16-bit computer game sounds.
"Retrodeath" takes everything further to far out, gleefully stitches together something new, something old, something borrowed, and a lot of things bold, but somehow manages to make sense of what sounds insane. Full weed ahead!

VOIDCEREMONY – New Album "Abditum" in November 2025 via 20 Buck Spin – Details & Track Premiere
20 Buck Spin proudly announces the new album of VOIDCEREMONY, entitled "Abditum", scheduled for November 14th 2025 on all formats.
Emerging with a labyrinthine work of creativity constructed with an intensity both unrelenting and precise, VOIDCEREMONY returns with their signature sound, an abstract and scathing zone of musical obscurity rife with cynicism toward humanity. "Abditum", the third full-length, unfurls with a sense of arcane design where twisting riffs clash and converge in unforeseen sequences.
Composed by Wandering Mind (aka Garrett Johnson) the otherworldly riffing spirals into altered shapes, conjuring tones that veer between luminous clarity and abyssal murk. Joined in the darkness by guitarist The Archonoclast (Jayson McGehee), Dylan Marks on drums and bass co-conspirators The Great Righteous Destroyer (Damon Good) and The Absent Deity (Ben Ricci), in tandem they create a cacophony of hellish jazz-inflected discord and unpredictable texture; every composition a descent into shifting caverns, where sudden openings reveal hidden pathways only to close again with finality.
Existing within an unawakened mind, contemplate a journey through the landscapes of "Abditum", a region replete with the harmonies of the spheres and ever evolving chaos. These elements create a world that is alien yet meticulously considered. VOIDCEREMONY once again resists easy grasp, demands immersion and rewards repeated exploration, materializing new contours perpetually.
A first track, "Seventh Ephemeral Aura", has been premiered here: https://youtu.be/qslm7aQcNG4

FESSUS - Debut Full-Length "Subcutaneous Tomb" in November 2025 via Darkness Shall Rise Productions - Video Premiere
ROTTEN, FOUL, DERANGED!
Austria once spawned classics like "Been Caught Buttering" and "Expositionsprophylaxe", yet for decades no Death Metal album matched those heights. That changed when Brenton, an Australian in Vienna, formed FESSUS in 2023. After their demo "Pilgrims of Morbidity", the band now delivers their full-length "Subcutaneous Tomb". Across six songs, FESSUS favor mid-paced morbidity with bursts of aggression, focusing on memorable riffs and macabre atmosphere over speed or technical excess. Brenton’s deranged vocals, recalling NECROPHAGIA’s Killjoy, spew venom with unique character. Echoes of AUTOPSY and
PURTENANCE appear, yet the band’s sound feels distinct.
"Subcutaneous Tomb" is a professional, rotten slab of Death Metal not to be missed. Coming on November 26th 2025 via Darkness Shall Rise Productions on all formats.

STARLIGHT RITUAL – New Video Clip - Second Album "Rogue Angels" in October 2025 via High Roller Records
Hard rocking metallers STARLIGHT RITUAL have premiered another song from their second album "Rogue Angels", coming on October 31st 2025 via High Roller Records.
A video clip for the track "Omenkillers" is available here: https://youtu.be/ChNREZMXUOc
STARLIGHT RITUAL was born in Montréal, Québec, sometime in 2013, founded by guitarists J.F. Bertrand and Dan Toupin. It was originally Bertrand’s idea to start a doom/psychedelic project, and they soon recruited bassist Mat Forge and drummer Louis Lecomte. Dan and J.F. wrote a full-length album of doomy, heavy/prog instrumental music. Some of those tracks ended up on the band’s first self-titled album in 2015 (technically a self-produced four-song EP, albeit with a running time of nearly 40 minutes). Damian Ritual joined STARLIGHT RITUAL as a singer in early 2014. Since then, the band issued another EP, called "Age Of The Universe" (2016), followed by their first official full-length album "Sealed In Starlight" on Temple Of Mystery (2021).
Damian comments: "Our early work featured longer, more psychedelic tracks meant for zoning out, but I never felt that truly represented what the band could be. On the 'Age Of The Universe' EP, we started leaning into a more classic heavy metal sound. By the time we released 'Sealed In Starlight', we had really found our identity: traditional heavy metal with epic flair, channeling the likes of Manowar and Running Wild, as well as older influences like Thin Lizzy and Rainbow. We blend the styles we love and make them our own. If I had to put a label on it, I’d call it 'Epic Hard Rocking Traditional Metal' – if that’s even a real genre!"

ARCHAIC THORN – New Track Premiere – Second Full-Length "Malicious Spears" via High Roller Records
ARCHAIC THORN have premiered a new song from their upcoming sophomore full-length "Malicious Spears", scheduled for October 31st 2025 via High Roller Records.
A lyric video for the track "Conquering Spirits" is available here: https://youtu.be/AnOLI5qbk4M
ARCHAIC THORN have been active in the German death metal underground since 2010, evolving steadily from their early demo "Hydra Throats" (2013) through the EP "In Desolate Magnificence" (2015) to their acclaimed debut album "Eradication" (2020) — all without losing their original ferocity. Anyone who appreciates the old-school sound of bands like Degial, Necrovore, or Repugnant will also love "Malicious Spears".
On their second studio album, the Saxon trio logically continues this path. "From our point of view, it’s more catchy and features more distinctive riffs", says guitarist CL. "The sound hits exactly what we were aiming for — we wanted an organic production that honestly reflects our band’s character and still delivers modern punch."
"Malicious Spears" is likely to win ARCHAIC THORN a host of new fans. Anyone who can combine uncompromising brutality with refined songwriting on this level is capable of standing alongside the heavyweights of the genre.
The album was mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studios (Necrophagist, Fragments of Unbecoming, among others). The cover artwork was crafted by Sadistik Exekution vocalist Rok.

PARADOX – New Lyric Video – Ninth Album "Mysterium" out soon via High Roller Records
German Thrash Metal institution PARADOX has revealed the third and final single for the new album "Mysterium", scheduled for September 26th 2025 via High Roller Records.
A lyric video for the track "One Way Ticket To Die" is available at this location: https://youtu.be/u5NuThAVVGw
"Mysterium" is the ninth studio album by PARADOX and marks a special milestone in the band’s 44-year history, as founder and mastermind Charly Steinhauer not only played all stringed instruments, programmed the drums and sang, but also handled the production entirely on his own. Only the mastering was left to Patrick W. Engels competent hands.
The songs are thematically linked, without it being a classic concept work. The lyrics – which, as on "Tales of the Weird" (2012) and "Pangea" (2016), were written by Achim "Dax" Hömerlein (ex-Vendetta) – revolve around mystical stories and world events that have personally moved Steinhauer. Songs like "Abyss of Pain and Fear" (inspired by the movie "Midnight Express"), the instrumental "Grief" (a tribute to co-founder Axel Blaha, who died in 2023) or the title track (about dream interpretation) thus form a common thread.
In Steinhauer’s own estimation, "Mysterium" is alongside their 1989 classic “Heresy” the strongest PARADOX album to date! "The songs all have their own identity, are catchy, and when the album is over, I want to listen to it again straight away.”
Charly`s focus remains on studio productions. In fact, he is already thinking about a follow-up album. For now, "Mysterium" is available on CD (with bonus track) and vinyl.
