Quebecois Heavy Metallers ZEICRYDEUS unleash their breathtaking debut album, “La Grande Hérésie”. Gates Of Hell proudly present the European edition of this magnificent opus.
Working alone, Foudre Noire not only composed but played, mixed, mastered and produced this effort. To mention that upfront was a necessity for you to understand the sheer scale of what this individual has achieved on his own. You will be stricken by the sonic might that mixes black, doom, heavy and thrash metal in a manner most unique and estranged yet gripping. The enchanting excellence of these songs spins tales effortlessly that take you to mysterious soundscapes that fans of Cirith Ungol, Running Wild, Rotting Christ and Sodom can all appreciate. The pummeling rhythmic intensity, bewitching melodies and malevolent vocals each sit in such different realms and yet transcend the need to be pigeon-holed by gallantly striding the boundary walls of underground and obscure heavy metal.
All Music & lyrics were composed by Foudre Noire between 2018 & 2024, the album also include a Thou Art Lord’s cover of “The End of Satan Rising” originally featured on their 1994’s album “Eosforos”. Recording took place at Stygian Studios, Longueuil, Québec & Toadhouse Studios, Portland OR, 2024.
