FRONTSIDE:

They’ve got talent. They’ve got attitude. And they’ve got the Devil on their side.

Frontside rose from obscurity in 1993 to become one of Poland’s most acclaimed and original metal acts of the 21st century. Formed of the ashes of two local bands – Dirty Flower and My Life - by guitarist Demon and vocalist Astek, Frontside in its early days was mostly influenced by the American hardcore / crossover scene. They have also always listened to metal giants like Slayer, Danzig and Morbid Angel and that is why during the next few years their music evolved into something heavier, more brutal and complex than hardcore ever was. Before their first full-length album even was recorded, metal became the dominating factor of Frontside’s unique style.
Baptized in a couple of hundred live shows (they’ve shared stage with a.o. Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Kreator, Behemoth, Vader, Satyricon, Cro-Mags, Madball, Earth Crisis, All Out War) Frontside are an unstoppable killing machine, both in studio and live situation. No wonder that „...I odpusc nam nasze winy...”, their latest recording issued in Poland on Mystic Production, has just been nominated for the Polish Grammy Awards (called in their native language Fryderyki) for the best metal album of 2003. Being a lethal mixture of Slayer-influenced riffing, death metal heaviness and NYC hardcore attitude, this is probably the heaviest record ever nominated for the Polish Grammy. The English version of this album, entitled „. Forgive Us Our Sins...” will be released worldwide later this year through the Swedish label Regain Records.

Line-up:
Astek- vocals
Demon – guitar
Destroy – drums
Simon – guitar
Novak - bass
