Info:

BLOODY HAMMERS have completed work on their sophomore LP titled "Spiritual Relics". The follow up to the North Carolina occult rock band's critically celebrated, eponymously titled debut, "Spiritual Relics" will be released on Oct 4th via Soulseller Records and boasts ten titanic tracks revolving around ironclad themes of classic horror, stories from the coven and chilling evil. The artwork for "Spiritual Relics" was created by Brazilian artist Caio Caldas.

Frontman Anders Manga comments: "We didn't have any live shows booked when our self-titled album was released. It was much more successful than anticipated, so we went back into the studio while waiting for tour dates to be confirmed. We're very pleased with the result and look forward to getting it out to the fans. The album is packed with more heavy fuzzed out eeriness and horror, as well as some chilled-out creepy southern gothic pieces. It will be released just in time for Halloween, and our performance at Phil Anselmo's Housecore Horror Film Fest in Austin."

Produced by towering front man / bassist Anders Manga, "Spiritual Relics" builds on the strong wall of sound BLOODY HAMMERS created on last year's debut. Named in homage to the singularly atomic Roky Erickson & The Aliens song of the same name, BLOODY HAMMERS' hallucinatory heavy music has been called "a psych / hard rock / horror fan's dream come true." In support of Spiritual Relics, BLOODY HAMMERS will hit the tour trail for its first North American and European live dates, kicking the festivities off with a pre-release U.S. trek alongside like-minded acts Ancient VVisdom and The Saint James Society and gigs with Weedeater, Ken Mode and more.

Additionally, BLOODY HAMMERS has been hand-picked by former Pantera and current DOWN frontman Phillip Anselmo to perform as one of the featured acts at the inaugural Housecore Horror Film Festival, set to take place October 24-17 in Austin, TX. BLOODY HAMMERS will share the stage at the festival with Down, Goblin, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Repulsion and more over the course of the three day fear fest.
