Info:

Espoo, Finland's Draugnim hasn’t had it easy. Having started on 1999 as Morior's one man project, it took nine years of toil and trouble plus a revolving door of dead end lineups just to get the debut album “Northwind's Ire” released. The critically acclaimed debut now under their collective belts, the sophomore outing came more easily.

Produced by Moonsorrow vocalist extraordinaire Ville Sorvali, Draugnim's second opus “Horizon's Low” reaches a new apex in Finnish epic folk metal. Dark, melancholic and oppressive, yet hauntingly beautiful and overwhelmingly majestic, “Horizon's Low” is a journey through the stories of our pagan history, executed with strong, heart-felt melodies and raw expression.

Though born in the digital age, “Horizons Low” is an organic album. Devoid of artificial studio wizardry, “Horizons Low” is brutally honest, much like nature itself. With burning hearts and the essence of music as their weapon, Draugnim bids you welcome to the world of old.

On the Weeper's Way to the Bastion, follow the soaring crow and dream the dreams of darkness.
