2.Mistress of the Dark
8.Black Void Nirvana
A black winter’s night in early 1996, TENEBRE saw the light of the moon. Through a mist of drugs and alcohol, the band made two CD’s and some singles and played what most people would call gothic horror metal. After signing to Regain Records in 2000, Tenebre released “Mark Ov The Beast”, which featured Steve Sylvester from Death SS on guest vocals. In 2002 Tenebre released a mini-CD, “Descend From Heaven” and a fullength CD, “Electric Hellfire Kiss”. Their metal past was slowly being erased, giving way to more melody and goth.
Numerous members have come and gone..the core of darkness today is original founder Richard Lion together with Mike from Funhouse on guitar, Jenny on bass, Ivana on keys, Andreas on drums and original singer Kalle on vocals
On their latest and fifth CD, “Heart’s Blood”, TENEBRE has definately moved away from their metal roots and have continued their journey into the dark realms of gothic rock, and can now be compared with acts like The 69 Eyes, Paradise Lost and Type 0 Negative as well as the classic 80’s goth bands like Fields Of The Nephilim, The Sisters Of Mercy and The Cult.
“Heart’s Blood” is ten tracks of pure, undiluted gothic melancholy and bleeding darkness. Music for dark souls and broken heart’s”
