During the 24 years of I Hate Records, we have always tried to support what we feel is the unadulterated Metal passion & dedication, often found in Eastern Europe and in South America! Time has come to welcome the first Croatian presence in the ranks: BEZDAN!
BEZDAN (Croatian for “Abyss”), with around 15 years activity, have released a couple of singles and EPs during the years. In late November the time has come for the long awaited full-length debut “Upon The Altar”.
Raw, evil and uncompromising – words suitable to describe the album. Old school, without stagnation! Still room for good ideas, development and strong musicianship. Inspiration comes in form of POSSESSED, 80s DEATH, caveman old SEPULTURA, as well as old Ex-Yugoslav heroes HELLER, EVIL BLOOD and a touch of Black/Speed Metal.
