Since their formation in 2011, HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY have crafted a unique sound defined by themes of despair, loss, love, and existential struggle. By blending atmospheric extreme metal with elements of post-rock, grunge, and modern hardcore, they have forged a genre of their own—taking their music across the globe through tireless dedication, most recently with headline tours throughout North America, Asia, Australia, Latin America, Africa and Europe.
Following six genre-defining albums, their album "Maere" entering the German charts on #4, and five nominations for the prestigious Austrian Amadeus Music Award, HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY has celebrated the 10th anniversary of their album "III: Trauma" in 2026 with an exclusive theatre concert in Vienna on May 2026 which will be released on audio/video streaming platforms & physical on December 4th, 2026.
